50 cents/lb. (NOTE: We do not shred or weigh the box it self, so you will get your empty boxes back right-away and you are not paying for the weight of the box that you bring your documents in)

COST for COMPUTER HARD-DRIVES AND CELL PHONES SHREDDING:
Desktop Hard-Drives: $15/HD, Laptop Hard-Drives:$10/HD (Already removed from the Computer or External Drive Case)
Cell Phones $10/ cellphone
If you need us to remove the Hard-Drive from the Computer or an External Hard-Drive unit, the cost will be $50/Computer or External Unit (additional Hard-drives from the same unit will be $15/HD). Please note we will not be responsible to any damages, which is very likely, to the computer/external HD case while removing the Hard-Drives.

1. Do the documents have to be in boxes?
Boxed Preferred, However, you can bring them in bags, totes, or what ever you have available to you and we will take care of the rest. (You will get your Totes and Boxes back to re-use)

Yes, this service is for everyone near and far, business and residential.
2. What Payments do you accept?
VISA and MASTERCARD Credit Cards only, Sorry NO CHECKS
3. Does one need to make an appointment?
No need to make an appointment on Saturdays, just come in between 9.00am and 1.00pm (Summer Hours), minimum charge is $15. For Monday thru Friday, making an appointment is required and the minimum charge is $50.
4. How long does it take?
Not long at all, we can shred 100 lbs.per minute!
5. What about other material with the paper documents?
If you have X-rays, floppies, CDs, etc., yes we can shred those separately and the price will be $5/lb.,$10 minimum.
We use specialized shredders for other materials that does take longer to Shred, your patience will be appreciated.
PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT NO GARBAGE IS INCLUDED WITH YOUR DOCUMENTS AS THAT WILL DOUBLE YOUR COST
6. Does one need to remove staples, paper clips binders, etc?
Please remove the very large paper clips and three ring or similar binders, but there is NO NEED to remove staples and small paper clips.
7. Why does one need to make an appointment on the week-days but no need for appointment on Saturdays for shredding at our site?
DFW Shredding is primarily a Mobile Shredding Company, so on weekdays our trucks are out shredding at customers office, storage or residential by appointment, and therefore may not be available to shred at our site on weekdays.
8. What is the process for obtaining a Certificate of Destruction?
The Tech will provide you with a form that you fill out with your information including your email address and we will email one to you in 5 business days. There is a charge of $10 for the Certificate.
9. Do you have a location in Tarrant County?
Not yet, we are looking for a place where we can set up on Saturdays. If you know of a storage, retail, commercial property, church or are with the city that has some extra parking, (approx. 10-15 spaces) with a highway exposure and is centrally located, contact us.
10. What about being open during bad weather?
Please call/check our website before heading to our location. For your safety and ours, we reserve the right to close when there are extreme weather conditions such as. but not limited to: Hail, Heavy rains, Super Cold temperature
